Please note that although many .308 AR bolt manufacturers advertise their bolt as compatible with DPMS pattern .308 AR rifles, lug and bolt face tolerances often vary widely between different manufacturers (as opposed to the AR-15, where there is a uniform industry standard). Criterion barrels are gauged at the factory with Fulton Armory .308 AR bolts. We have also had success in demo rifle testing with bolts from DPMS and JP Enterprises. Headspaced bolt and barrel sets are available upon request. If you have any questions regarding bolt compatibility, please email us at contact@criterionbarrels.com.

I purchased one of the SS 22" Hybrid contour 6.5CM barrels, and installed it in my PSA PA65 Gen II… I am VERY impressed. Accuracy has been excellent with many, many factory rounds. It shot the best group of my life ( so far , Lol ) … 9rds Hornady AG 140gr in one hole , rapid fire, 100yds… with me flubbing the 10th shot. The 9rds measured 1/2".. without subtracting the .264 bullet amount !…Measured 3/4" with the flubbed 10th shot.. again wothout subtracting the bullet diameter…. Needless to say, I will be buying more Criterion Barrels. I wish I could add a photo…

Gotta say–And, no, I am not getting paid for this–but I have pretty much never experienced such superior customer service as I have from Criterion. These barrels are sub MOA, or better than most shooters. The stainless nitrided barrel is a work of art and performs flawlessly. Long story short is that I was having some accuracy issues which I mentioned to Criterion. After sending them the upper assembly at their expense (wow) they not only ID’d the problem, but went the extra distance times 5 to remedy the situation even though the upper and not the barrel was the issue. By the time we were done I had a rifle capable of better accuracy than any other I’ve ever owned. Nothing but good things to say about these barrels and Criterion. Strongly recommended.
