More about the 6.5 Creedmoor
The 6.5 Creedmoor has advantages over the traditional 308, especially at long distance. It not only has significantly less recoil, it shoots flatter than the 308 and maintains supersonic velocities well past 1,000 yards. The short action case design also allows you a selection of longer bullets that can still be fed through a magazine. All of our 6.5 Creedmoor AR barrels are enhanced with a JP Enterprises barrel extension to flawlessly feed these popular bullet designs.

Exceptional fit, finish, and performance. Purchased the 20″ with headspaced JP Enterprises bolt. She’s nestled in a Gibbz Arms (Mesa, AZ) side charging upper receiver with the Gibbz free floating 15″ handguard. Criterion’s JP Enterprises extension snuggly fits in the Gibbz upper. This barrel loves Berger’s 130gr OTM Tactical bullet with a muzzle velocity of 2,883 (9fps SD). After break-in, she was registering 0.4MOA with the Berger 130g OTM load. She also delivers Hornady’s 140gr ELD Match bullets to a hair over 0.5MOA. Couldn’t be happier with the performance of Criterion barrel and JP Enterprises headspaced bolt! The tech support and customer service at Criterion is exceptional as well. Even in these challenging times, they are courteous, patient, and very knowledgeable.
