Description
Criterion Rem/Age pre-fit barrels are available exclusively through Northland Shooters Supply (NSS). These barrels are designed to fit Remington 700 actions using the proprietary NSS Rem/Age barrel nut system.
Each Rem/Age pre-fit barrel is hand lapped, features a polished chamber, and is held to match grade tolerances. Available chamber and contour options are listed below.

I bought a 28" 300 Win Mag Match barrel from Northland Shooter’s Supply to replace the barrel shaped object my Rem700 Long Range came with. Also got the lug and required nut. Wow just wow. I have shot numerous .5" groups at 100 with the flier included. Shot numerous 1 egg shaped hole groups and the 4" steel at 600 yards is fun even with my 10x scope. Factory trigger still installed and no adjustment done. While doing load workup RL26 got 208 ELD-M to 3150 fps with easy bolt lift and H1000 workup was spectacular too. While sharing with a friend he said just pick your ballistics you want the gun does not care. Worst group over 20, 5 shot groups was just over 1" and was probably me. Settled on mild H1000 load with both 208 ELD-M and 190 SMK around 2860 fps for barrel and brass life. Now I need on for my Savage!

Talk about an excellent barrel! I got a Rem/Age pre-fit in 6mm Creedmoor. After some barrel break in, I cleaned the barrel after about 60 rounds got almost no copper. Now for what is really important in a barrel. ACCURACY. I’m not done with load development, but so far I got about .35 MOA at 300 yards with Hornady 108 ELDs. I’m not quite done developing a load with Nosler 105 RDFs . One group with seating depth tests resulted in a group with about .26 inches at 100 yards. Customer service is absolutely excellent. All my questions get answered honestly and completely. They are very knowledgeable and have great insight. So to put things into perspective, I got a barrel with exceptional accuracy that only minimally fouls with copper from a company that provides excellent customer support and a system whereby I can change a barrel without the cost of a gunsmith. No brainer! Criterion Barrels!
